I have almost heard of just 3 news systems.

phpcow, vivvi and e107 but sorry i have never tried any one out of them.

Phpcow released a low cost version lately which onl y gives 1 month updates/support and is like US$ 55 or 60.

vivvo is very costly and rest e107 is OSS and a very mature script with some skins too.

Suggest me some other news site CMS which are highly configurable and are less money and cheap branding removal option.

Are you looking for PHP or .NET? I am guessing PHP since you mentioned the word cheap?
