Hi all,

When is the next Page Rank update? Any news?

How frequently the Page Rank update will occur?

I can't believe no one has answered this.
The public PageRank export occurs about once every 3 months, although the one expected at the end of Aug 07 is long overdue. Google update PR much more frequently on their own system - just they don't tell anyone about it until one of the public exports.

i think they skipped this one.
and didt some cleaning up before the next pr-update.

but no one can tell for sure.

a lot of directories are hit.
and banned from google.

and a lot are set back.

Few days back a pr update has occurred so the next one is scheduled to be in 3 months that is some where in Feb..i also heard a news that PR will loose the meaning in some time as google in planning a new thing ie page importance in terms of content and not the links

Yes, an update was made on the last week of October. There are many high PR websites that were downgraded and some people say the downgrade was caused by paid links. There were also sites that were downgraded and then upgraded again. Google people might be doing some manual ranking especially on high profile websites.
