Out of them all w3schools.com is best for beginners, It was ofcourse the first tutorials website I came across and it have all basic things a webdesign novice need to know.

Yeah to learn HTML, XHTML, CSS and FLASH w3schools.com is best site. They give you step by step notes and they will give you all the tags list and etc. for graphics www.adobephotoshoptutorials.com is the best site.

Php.net is a good one, I used to use it all the time to help me with my php coding when I first started coding.
