WinkiPedia

I assume that every one of us know about the winkipedia. Now winkipedia is going to become a search engine. It would be interesting to see how Yahoo and Google react to it. For details you can follow the link given here.....

Yeh, but I think wikipedia can't become a full search engine purely because it don't have enough of it's own content.

Also, webmasters wouldn't be making sites to get into wikipedia either, so there is a buzzkiller too.

Thanks. for sharing the link, but i think both google and yahoo won't react bcoz they both are too big to compete as sohan said.

There is nothing for yahoo and google to react. because even wikipedia becomes a search engine It won’t effect much on google. Google is the king and it will stay as king for more than 10 years from now. wikipedia needs to do a lot work to become a popular search engine.

Is op talking about winkipedia? or wikipedia?
I think Wikipedia is far more better when searching for informations. They are open source and have really updated materials.
