What are the SE's do you use?

Hi all,

I know, all/most of us use Google Search Engine to search the internet world. What are the other Search engines do you use? How good it is?

I never used yahoo search. Sometimes I use MSN/Live search accidentally (on my Internet explorer).

Yahoo / ASK / Live here. Don't touch Google. Don't think their way of making money is right.

Yahoo you have never used its really strange and I think that yahoo sometimes gives better results than google.

I also never use google, I agree with your reasoning as to why. I have used yahoo since the search engine was first available. I also have to agree that your results are a true result. What I mean is that I think that too many people pay for google and so therefore the results are based on who is paying the most or who is visited the most. Where with yahoo, you can pay for top placing but that is above in the shaded area and is not one of the rankings.

After Google I would choose Yahoo. Yahoo is particularly good for checking your backlinks because they tend to index quicker than Google.

Yahoo offer more than google, update more than google and listen more than google.

Their only downside is YPN is USA only.

I use iwon (powered by ask.com) quite a bit. If I don't find what I need, I will turn to Google. But also according to the Search Engine Relation Chart, it is also powered by Google.

Google, no others - it's straight forward and does the job.

Would never us Live, MS search is crap imo and I'd rather not support Microsoft.

Google Of-course!!! besides that I use yahoo and AOL. They are the only two which are giving me the results according to my expectations. Rest all are rubbish!!

I big fan of Google but I also use Yahoo and guruji.com(search engine from India). Guruji.com gives good results regarding searches made for stuff related to India. It also have good script.

I have never used any other search engine other then Google but if I have to use another search engine because of some reason then I would like to use Yahoo. They are better alternative for Google.

I am use Yahoo and MSN. I do not use Google much just on few occasions. My first choice is Yahoo and then I opt for MSN. Yahoo is the best for me as it suites to my need more then Google.

I do the same, I don't like giving all my searches to one company and help them monopolise.
