I think he means to create them so that search engine bots will index more of your pages - I think, but I'm not sure.

Yes, you can create a sitemap for Google, Yahoo, MSN, and Ask.com. Sorry I missed the advertising part.

I would be careful though when using Google Adwords, I have heard people go broke on those unfortunately. On a consumer level, I hardly ever look at the sponsored listing when I do a search and usually rely more on content to hopefully find what i am looking for.

You might check out MSN and see what they also have to offer. Seems more and more people are using MSN and they might have some pretty good deals. It might be worth it to use a few different ones to see what might bring you the best ROI depending on your keywords

Google msn and yahoo these all three are what you should focus and all three have different strategies of SEO.

Yes adwords can be very costly and if you are not making enough money from your site you will be spending a lot more. I would also try using MSN and Yahoo. Also you can try newsletters for advertising as well.

If you want to target more users then I think you should try it in Google and Yahoo as they have big share on the search engine market.

Yahoo Pay per click is fine but MSN is pay per click is a big mess!! They are cheap no doubt but they have some big drawbacks which is the matter of concern.

Google could be the best choice but then there are other options available like Microsoft Adcenter. It is cheap then Google and Yahoo which will save some bucks which could be used in other things.
