Writing good article for stumble/digg

So I still havent stumbled or dug my proxy site yet and im wondering how to write a good article for a proxy site... Should it be kinda short and sweet? Something like.

Are you tired of being blocked by school filters? Well get around that with ease. Now you can Unblock myspace from school or work... maybe some more stuff

I have never wrote and article for one of these sites so I wont it to be useful and get me some traffic

I don't think an article would do too well on Digg as that is more for serious / viral stuff in my opinion.

Stumble upon works very well for proxies. It delivers a high amount of clicks to Adsense and increases the CTR as the users are no already ad blind.

If you do make an article, I suggest you publish it on a new page in your proxy then link it to the main page of the proxy. That way you are getting all the traffic and there are chances they will 'test' your proxy out giving you extra money from proxified pages.

so do you mean stumble a page using my proxy? As in find an intresting article go to it via my proxy then stumble it?

Also is there a better advertiser to use for proxified pages? I use adbrite and i have gotten about 8 bucks from it in 3 months... I got like 50k+ impressions on it too...

No, but that is a really really good idea. Would bring a lot of traffic.

I use Adtegrity right now with a combo of banners and pop ups. I don't think I have much traffic, so I don't really check the rates etc.

I see, well I found that stumble exchange I used.

Anyways yeah Im gonna try and start building more traffic, I have just been solely using yahoo and google groups...

This is a great forum Sohan your a fountain of knowledge to my somewhat newbie self haha.

I just joined and I have 22 stumbles now. It would be nice if the system was automated some how. I find it annoying how it's all based around trust and honest users who have time to award points back.

Stumble is a seriously good way of increasing CTR and getting some nice constant traffic.

Yeah, most people are real honest with it though as it seems, I still gotta write my stumble article... Im just collecting points right now.

I have also seen some proxy sites on the stumble exchange and stumbled them haha

I've been using that exchange site quiet heavily recently. It's very good and shot the traffic up.

What was the other exchange site you linked me to? I can't remember it.

Well im also in a private exchange site I dont have any links available to give out right now though...

I think though some of the better ways to get more stumbles with the exchange is to click the users online one and stumble there site and when you leave me message state something like I stumbled your page please stumble mine back.

I do this becuase that way you know the user is active, instead of stumbling some random one that the user might no longer be using the exchange. and if you stumble someones they usuly stumble yours back

I've stumbled your proxy buddy. You might want to add something like index2.php and just duplicate the index.php and add that as a site also? That way you can increase the traffic.

The exchange brings a lot of traffic!

I havent hardly been getting any extra traffic at all you know what i realized too now... its now summer break in america so there will be no kids in school trying to use myspace and such...

There will be people in offices and work etc, so there will be some traffic still.

You need to stumble something like a joke on your proxy or something, I stumbled a joke on Focused and it got 5stars already.

I'm going to have to try that stumble exchange. I could get some good starting traffic to my blog I'll be launching very recently. On another note, stumbling or digging won't do too much for your proxy, since those services aren't accessible in school, either.
