Personally, I think FDCServers.net is the best way to go for a proxy.

They provide unmetered solutions which would help proxies.

Most servers come with 1gb ram as standard, and $139 one off for another GB, or $20 a month for another GB.

All the control panels and operating systems are free, so you save some more money again.

Dedicated servers, Colocation chicago, Virtual dedicated servers, Dedicated server forums, virtual dedicated server forums, VDS, VPS, virtual private servers email them about resellers, and you can get some good stuff there.

If you have more to spend, go to liquid web.
