Server Problem

Hey Sohan,
i am getting strange problem. i owe like 2 php proxy and 4 cgi proxy out of all these proxy only 1 php proxy has good traffic.. others are just soso... dosnt take any of ram resources..! now problem is what sometime none of my websites open.. it just stuck down shows that opening website and dosnt open anything i have like 12 websites on that server...server is p4, with 1 gb ram .. and php proxy have 800 visitors daily which is famous and comparatively has big traffic than other sites.. now tell me why my site dosnt open sometime ? it just stuck and when i restart apache it starts working fine agian... i am sick of it and loosing visitors.. please let me know what should i do.. decrease the number of website from server ? shall i point all proxies to one site ? will increasing ram can resolve this issue.. please guide me throught.. thank you

What is your server load at peak times? It might even be that you've used all the open connections available.

well at busy times just my one proxy takes 80% RAm as per server status..yes i asked layeredtech about it they said i am using too many connections. but i dont know what to do .. please tell me shall i decrease number of sitees...
or anything else ?

Increase the ram to 2gb.
