you can't see blinking text on IE browser, but you can see it with Firefox.
Yeah i didn't read the last line of your post and tried it. But it didn't work for me as i'm a IE user. can you tell us a tag for text blinking which works with every browser?

It's just flashing and annoying. Distracts you a lot.
It won't work on the forums because the site won't parse the code.
Now I have heard that Flash animations looked over by the Big G. So we might see more Flash content websites now. I wonder how irritating will it be then.
