Why e-gold account got blocked?

Recently we’ve heard of many people having their e-gold account getting blocked. Until now nobody actually understand why e-gold admin block the account in the first place. Some say it’s because of involvement in HYIP or other activities related to money laundering. What do you guys think? Any specific reason for account getting blocked?

One reason is accepting funds from other blocked accounts. Involvement with HYIP programs is another reason. e-gold is really on the lookout for these type of programs so any suspicious transaction within your account can be a ground for blockage.

yeah this is true. I don't think e-gold is best payment processor because people always compline about it. The main complaint is getting their account blocked. Some people got their account blocked for no reason.

E-gold is only good in sense that payments are not reversible, rest it is of no use.

I had heard about a rumor that very first E-gold accounts that have 4 and/or 5 digit numbers are able to receive from blocked E-gold accounts. That may be a phishing activity as well. However,if you google about that you will see many exchangers taking about a %20 comission to cash money from blocked accounts.
Choice and risk is yours,anyway.
