Get Paid to Search with Google

Introducing the ideal program for webmasters - something where you get paid for what you do naturally anyway - using the search engines.

My Search Funds is a scheme where web users get paid for completing their normal search engine queries.

It works as follows:

• Sign up to My Search Funds (all you need is your name and PayPal email address).
• Install the My Search Funds search bar in your web browser (Firefox, IE and Opera are supported).

I have not received any payment myself yet, which I why I needed to research my review over at MoneySavingExpert.com forums. It seems kosher as long as people don't make any suspicious search patterns or excessive searches (like >30 per day). My current balance is just shy of £2 for about 100 searches.

It's actually pretty good. I signed up and I have £0.26 so far so it's not bad.

I think you only get paid when you press an ad on the search results.

yeah this is a nice service... i have made about $15 in the last month. Yeah not much but hey its $15 I didnt have before and I got it from doing what I always do and thats search. Might as well use it right?

I'm pretty sure you get paid for every search you perform, whether you click an ad or not.

The thing is that if you don't follow through with your search (e.g. click a search result) then they'll think that you're not searching honestly and deduct some earnings. On the first day I think I did around 30 searches and they reduced that to about 20. I'm now doing between 15 and 20 a day without trouble.

what any keyword do you use to search everyday?
It must be hard to think what should you search everyday using this site.
btw, i heard that they have long payment delay, 2-3 months i think.

You don't think of keywords - you search normally as you would anyway.

Payment is NET45, which is quite common in the industry. What that means is you have to wait for 45 days after the month end where you reach the £20 payout minimum. Most PPC advertising services operate the same sort of way.

My Search Funds is now known as Homepages Friends, which uses Yahoo! instead of Google for their searches. Apart from that it works exactly the same way as before - explained in my review.

Can you kindly post payment proofs ? So it may help me to understand better.

Yeah, there were a lot of my searches that weren't getting creditted to me. I mean like 100s over a couple of weeks, I know I make a lot of searches, but for 100% not count, I thought that was rubbish, so I quit using them.

I think people are being paid to search on yahoo, and not on google. It might be a coincidence, but a few days back, I saw a similar thread, and its title indicated that people are being paid to search on ask.com, but it was in fact all about the same yahoo program!
