This forum dying?

So I was real exctied about these forums but upon further inspection it seems as though its dying? Am i wrong?

Forums are notoriously difficult to attract members to and retain those who have registered. It's not unusual. I moderate at another forum, which was formed by the combination of two smaller webmaster communities - it's pretty slow there at the moment too.

It's true that things have been slow here over the last 6-months or so, but hopefully that should improve in the future. Peaks and troughs.

Quiet the opposite. We've been around for a long time, and this has been a sort of 'second' project.

However, some time next week (around the 12th) I will be doing mass competitions and major advertising to get our userbase active again.

I've also got some JVs lined up to offer a lot of free stuff to members.

I am a proxy website owner that is how i was attracted to this forum so I hope we can get some more users in. Im real excited about this 60% chance of my adsense publisher ID being used too. I wonder how well this will work.

Umm Im just looking to get more traffic and get people clicking my ads haha I have been running it for about 2 months now and have made only 60 bucks from adsense and less then 10 from adbrite. My adsense account is showing about 100-200 people to my site a day...

Also whats the Bannerconnect you talk about?

www.bannerconnect.net they pay you per view, so your getting money for every visitor. Your allowed the ads on the proxified pages also.

oh man I have no idea.... Maybe in other forums... Proxy related blogs... cpc? I have never promoted a forum before.... but this rev share could be a nice attraction...

Yes, I think the revenue share is one of our biggest attractions. Unfortunately I don't use AdSense so I can't benefit myself.
