Inspiration - Key Factor

Well, just a few pointers nothing big really..,
When designing wether it be just a basic logo or a full size template you need inspiration wether it be looking at a current logo or trying to copy a design you need somewhere in there some inspiration to follow.

Also if you are in to games, or in to rendering i would recommend www.gamerenders.com a great site with many members that will help you to get started.

Yeh, they're good for making site logos and headers. There's also www.clantemplates.com i think, who offer renders too.

I am new as well and was not sure where you would find this type of information. I am glad I found this thread and was able to make a note of the links provided for reference.
