If you click the image below, you'll see that I've numbered everything.

1. Put a 468x60 there, try an ad with all black text, white background no border, and play with the title colour to see what works best.
2. Move this bit down, and extend the header across, so it's one big header.
3. Extend the header line to meet the new changes in #2
4. Change the ad to match the colour of that colum, and have all white text.
5. Merge them two colums into one.
6. Remove this advert.
7. Move these links into the content area, centred. Don't draw much attention to these, as it will lower CTR.
